Supporting unhoused individuals and their pets through compassionate outreach, care, and community partnerships.

Do His Work is inspired by faith, but grounded in love for people and their pets — without conditions. Our mission is shaped by the belief that showing up, caring deeply, and serving others is how change happens.
We welcome everyone. Support is never based on belief, background, or circumstance — only on the shared understanding that compassion belongs to all.
Have questions, want to volunteer, host a donation drive, or become a drop-off location? We’d love to connect. Reach out to support outreach efforts helping unhoused neighbors and their pets across our community.

Do His Work exists to support unhoused individuals and their pets through compassionate outreach, care, and community partnership. We believe no one should have to choose between their own well-being and the animal they love.

We provide food, supplies, and hands-on support to unhoused pet owners across Arizona, meeting people where they are and responding to real, immediate needs with dignity and respect.

Each year in late summer, we take our outreach on the road through parts of the West Coast, traveling by RV with our dogs, Zion and Ace. These trips allow us to connect with underserved communities, support local partners, and extend our outreach beyond Arizona — while staying rooted in the same hands-on, relationship-driven approach.

Pets are often a source of stability, comfort, and protection for people living without housing. Keeping people and their pets together preserves trust, safety, and hope — and creates a stronger path forward for both.

Our long-term vision is to create a transitional shelter program where unhoused individuals can temporarily place their pets while they pursue medical care, recovery, employment, or housing — without losing connection to the animals they love.

Many people we meet during outreach are veterans facing homelessness alongside their pets — often their closest source of comfort and support.
